Bengal pacer Ashok Dinda will be bestowed the ‘Best Cricketer’ award while wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha would be honoured with the ‘Gentleman Cricketer’ trophy by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) in its annual ceremony on July 26.

Former Bengal leg-spinner Soumendranath Kundu will be conferred the Lifetime Achievement. Awards will be given in 21 categories at the annual function. Former India captain GR Viswanath will be the chief guest, a CAB release said today.

Dinda, who has been a vital part of the Bengal attack since his debut in 2005, has not been featured in the national side for over one and a half years. He was recently noticed for his 8-wicket haul against Railways in the 2nd quarter final of the Ranji Trophy earlier this year.
