South Africa to meet Australia in tri-series final

South Africa qualified for the final of the ongoing triangular series in Zimbabwe after the hosts failed to chase the target down in 25.1 overs of less. They meet Australia, who currently lead the tri-series with 10 points.
Zimbabwe were 100 for the loss of four wickets at 25.2 overs, with Brendan Taylor and Elton Chigumbura batting at 19 and 8 respectively. They had to chase target down within the stipulated in order to gain a bonus point and edge past the Proteas on the basis of the net run rate. The table is currently topped by Australia with 10 points from two wins followed by South Africa with nine points from as many wins and Zimbabwe languishing at the bottom with 4 points.
South Africa and Australia will now meet in the tournament final on September 6.
