After registering their first victory on this tour against the Prime Ministers XI, England will be eager to fight back in the second One-Day International against Australia at Brisbane on Friday. The visitors are trailing 0-1 in the five-match series.
The visitors were thrashed in the first ODI with a dominating century by Aaron Finch. Australia won the match by six wickets with more than four overs remaining.
England top order will be particularly under pressure with skipper Alastair Cook once again struggling to give a solid start. In contrast to the aggressive Australians, the visitors were content to move at a sedate pace at the start of the innings. However, they will have to push themselves harder to post a total beyond the reach of the in form Aussie batsmen.
