Cameron White who came to the crease replacing Shaun Marsh was out for duck. It was Steven Finn’s second strike in the same over. It was a full delivery by Finn which just came in sharply . Glenn Maxwell replaced White. Marsh who had a good start was dismissed on 45 by Steven Finn. It was full delivery bowled by Finn and Marsh tried to drive it but he was caught at point by Ian Bell. Australia at this point are 92 for two after 16.1 overs. Cameron White came to the crease replacing Marsh.

Bell had a tremendous match, going past 5,000 ODI runs, then becoming England’s leading run-scorer in 50-over cricket, and also getting his highest score in the format, all in the same match.

Australia won the toss and chose to field first. Steven Smith, captaining the side for the first time on debut, announced at the toss that there were three changes: David Warner, Shane Watson, and George Bailey had to miss out, and were replaced by Shaun Marsh, Cameron White, and Moises Henriques. England went in with the same side.
