Pakistan are in a precarious stage losing two wickets early on against Australia in their second match of the ICC World T20 2014 at Dhaka on Sunday. After losing Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez in quick succession, they are on 56 for two in 8 overs .
After Shehzad departed miscuing a pull shot off Doug Bollinger for five, skipper Mohammad Hafeez played some crisp shots on the leg-side off Bollinger. He deliberately targeted the leg-side as it was the shorter boundary.
The skipper looked confident until Shane Watson was introduced in the fifth over. Hafeez tried to go for a slog on the off-side but the bottom edge crashed into the stumps.
The Akmal brothers then carried the innings ahead with Umar announcing his aggressive instinct right from the start. Umar played a pull shot for couple on the first ball. He hit Watson for couple of boundaries in his second over and in the eighth over, hammered Nathan Coulter-Nile for a four over mid-wicket. On the last ball of the over, Brad Hogg dropped a catch from Umar Akmal.
