South Africa lost their openers early while chasing a total of 328 against Australia in the second One-Day International (ODI) of the triangular series at Harare. Quinton de Kock was caught by James Faulkner off a Mitchell Starc delivery in the ninth over.
Hashim Amla was dismissed by Kane Richardson in the eighth over. It was a short ball from Kane Richardson, he cut the ball straight towards the backward point where Steve Smith took a good low catch. Phil hughes and Aaron Finch opened the batting for Australia. They were off to a brisk start and made the stage for the middle-order to come and capitalise. Finch and Hughes added 92 runs in tandem until Hughes got out to a loose ball from Imran Tahir at the covers.
