Indian and Pakistani cricketers might be fiercest of rivals on the cricket field, but they bond really well off the field. This fact was established once again recently when MS Dhoni posed with Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed’s little son Abdullah; a picture that broke the internet and won many a heart. And now, in a similar gesture, former Pakistan limited-overs skipper and one of the main architects of their ICC Champions Trophy 2017 win, Azhar Ali also posted heart-warming pictures through his official Twitter handle.
The pictures of his sons posing with Indian legends Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and captain Virat Kohli are winning the social media. Proving yet again that sports always go beyond boundaries, Azhar thanked Dhoni, Kohli and Yuvraj for taking time out to get clicked with his sons. He wrote, “Thanks to these legends for sparing their time for my kids they were so happy.”
Since being posted around 3 PM IST on Tuesday, the tweet has gone viral and collected over 18,000 retweets and 56,000 likes so far. The numbers are only rising with every passing minute, suggesting how positively the fans of two countries have taken this tweet.
The pictures also impressed renowned personalities on Twitter, most notably Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who wrote, “Humanity restored! The world is changed by your action not your opinion.”

There were other Twitter users too, from both India and Pakistan, who lauded this gesture of Azhar and his Indian counterparts. It was indeed a wonderful gesture on the part of all the players involved as at least for some time, they managed to put smile on the faces of thousands of people from the two countries.
