Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2015 has got off to a wonderful start. The Points Table and Team Standings reflects some incredibly close encounters. There have been a number of close matches already, with final-over and last-ball finishes becoming quite common as things stand. There are six teams involved in the Twenty20 (T20) tournament: Barisal Bulls, Dhaka Dynamites, Comilla Victorians, Chittagong Vikings, Rangpur Riders, and Sylhet Super Stars. The tournament has managed to rope in some huge names. Apart from virtually the entire Bangladesh national team, some sides have pulled in tremendous international talent as well. Almost every team has their fair share of international T20 superstars, which adds a lot of spice to the tournament. Some of the biggest names in T20 cricket are playing the tournament, which has already begun to get comparisons with its Indian counterpart the Indian Premier League (IPL), as well as Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) and West Indies’ Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The tournament has been a controversial one in the past, with spot-fixing and match-fixing galore in past editions. Mohammad Ashraful was charged with match-fixing in a prior edition of the tournament, but it seems to have reinvented itself this time around.
