Mominul Haque has scored a half-century against Pakistan in the eighth match of the Asia Cup 2014 at Mirpur. Bangladesh are at 236 for two after 43 overs. Mominul is batting on 50 and Mushfiqur Rahim is on 13.

Mominul was in great form. He turned a straight delivery from Umar Gul behind on the leg side for a four in the 42nd over. Mushfiqur then struck two fours in-a-row in a Saeed Ajmal over. The first was swept towards deep square-leg and the next was guided to third-man.

Earlier, Abdur Rehman created a dubious world record by registering completed figures of 0-0-8-0 in an international cricket match. The Pakistan left-arm spinner bowled three above the waist no-balls in-a-row.

Openers Anamul Haque and Imrul Kayes shared a 150-run partnership. Kayes was the first wicket to fall for 59 off 75 deliveries. He struck five fours and two sixes. Anamul went onto score his second century in ODIs. But soon he was dismissed for 100 off 132 deliveries. He struck six fours and four sixes in his innings.

The hosts made five changes to their side that lost to Afghanistan. Shakib Al Hasan, Kayes, Mahmudullah, Shafiul Islam and Al-Amin Hossain have been included in the starting XI.

Pakistan also made two changes from the side that beat India. Opener Sharjeel Khan sat out with an injury and was replaced by Fawad Alam. Abdur Rehman comes in for Junai Khan.
