The fifth match of Asia Cup Twenty20 (T20) International 2016 was played between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at Dhaka. Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first but Bangladesh’s both openers were out for ducks and inside five overs they lost the wicket of the experienced batsman Mushfiqur Rahim but then Sabbir Rahman and Shakib played well and they added 82 runs and with the help of Mamudullah’s 23 runs Bangladesh managed to post a total of 148 runs. In reply, Sri Lanka started well but they lost Dilshan after 3rd over and then Chandimal and Sanath Jayasuriya added 56 runs but they both fall in quick succession and then no Sri Lankan batsman played a quick innings and in the end against good bowling attack of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka lost the match by 23 runs. Other instance happened against Netherlands at Chittagong on 24th March 2014 when they dismissed both Stephen Myburgh and Swart for a duck.
