The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will keep an eye on the behaviour of Virat Kohli, the new Indian Test captain. The president of BCCI, Jagmohan Dalmiya, has recently confirmed this to, Hindustan Times in an exclusive interview.

During the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Kohli recently dominated the headlines for his aggressive outburst against an Indian journalist. It resulted him, a warning from the board. Talking about that unfortunate incident Dalmia said, “Kohli’s outbursts has to be examined and whatever corrective measures are needed will have to be taken.”

When he was asked what measures BCCI is taking regarding this, the veteran administrator said,”Why talk about it? If something has to be done, I will do it. Simply talking about it could seem like a failure. I’m not brushing it aside, but I’m not saying all is well either.” Kohli’s poor behaviour evoked strong criticism from former cricketers like VVS Laxman and Sunil Gavaskar.
