Ever since making his debut for England, Ben Stokes has been one of world cricket’s most wanted all-rounders. His price in Indian Premier League (IPL) for the past two seasons, has only advocated his value as a player. In the ongoing VIVO IPL 2018 season, Stokes is playing for Rajasthan Royals. His first outing for the franchise was nothing to boast off. In a short video interview to ESPNCricinfo, Stokes has revealed his favourite city in India.

Asked the question by his Royals’ teammate Jaydev Unadkat, Stokes revealed Jaipur to be his favourite Indian city. Unadkat went on to confirm whether Stokes was joking or not. Stokes in his impeccable manner replied ” because I am picked by Royals”. Stokes was been purchased by RR for INR 12.50 Cr. He will be hopeful of re-kindling his form from IPL 11, where he was purchased for INR 14.5 crore.

Stokes shined with the bat, scoring 316 runs in 12 matches, that includes a century and fifty. He went on to pick 12 wickets in 13 matches for Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). Ahead of the season start, Jos Buttler also expected big things from Stokes for Royals. He said: “Ben will be absolutely fine and more than ready for the IPL. He is already back for England in New Zealand and is quite comfortable. He is a huge part of England. It’s great to have him back in the English side as he is one of the best players in the world. I am expecting some big things from him this time.”
