Mashrafe sustained an ankle injury during his team’s training on Friday. Rangpur Riders will play against Chittagong Vikings in the BPL opener at 2pm on the same day.

His career has been plagued by serious injuries over the years. His team was practising at Mirpur Academy grounds. Comilla Victorians will face Dhaka Dynamites on Sunday in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). “It’s just a slight pain… I hope to resume practice from tomorrow,” Mashrafe added.
