Brendon McCullum has been dismissed in Chennai Super Kings’ run-chase of 179 against Delhi Daredevils at Feroz Shah Kotla in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 encounter. McCullum had put up 82 in 11.2 overs with Dwayne Smith. Catch the Live Blog of DD vs CSK match here.
After a good start, Chennai slowed down a touch and the required rate started going up. McCullum slowed down more than Smith. Later, Shahbaz Nadeem came onto bowl and Smith smashed him for a six over mid-wicket. Laxmi Ratan Shukla was then hit over long-off for a four by McCullum to break the shackles. After being asked to bat, Delhi lost momentum in the innings one couple of occasions but the knocks by Karthik, Duminy and Jadhav ensured they set a strong total of 178 for five in their allotted 20 overs. Duminy and Jadhav added 58-runs for the sixth wicket to power their side. Jadhav smashed two sixes and a four in the final over off Mohit Sharma to remain unbeaten on 29 off 18 balls.
