South Africa start the post-lunch session with a bang as they manage to get rid fo Cheteshwara Pujara for 21 off 43 deliveries. Simon Harmer, bowling around the wicket, pitches the ball on off and middle and hits Pujara on middle stump. This is just what the South Africans would ave hoped for when they took the field in the second session. Ajinkya rahane is the new batsman and he along with his skipper Virat Kohli will look to put on a good partnership from here. Kohli has been susceptible outside off and the Proteas will look to exploit his weakness. Rahane has been in decent form with the bat, but has not fired in this series so far. Harmer has been bowling well from one end and Hashim Amla is looking to rotate bowlers from the other end. This ploy has worked well so far and the Indian batsmen will feel the pressure at the moment. Earlier, India had won the toss and elected to bat first. The hosts made a couple of changes from the Bengaluru Test to their squad. Rohit Sharma regained his place in the team in place of Varun Aaron. Amit Mishra was added into the team as the third spinner in place of all-rounder Stuart Binny. India lead the 4-match series 1-0, with the 4th and final Test set to be played in Delhi after this match.
