With English County cricket in full swing, Yorkshire  are gearing up play their full strength side in upcoming games. Two of their most anticipated batsmen in Cheteshwar Pujara and Joe Root will form a formidable line-up. Both will play for them in matches against Essex and Surrey. Pujara speaking ahead his meeting with Root, said that he is looking to forward to picking the England Test captain’s brains.

According to yorkshirepost.co.uk, Pujara said: “I’m really looking forward to playing with him,” said Pujara, who is available for up to nine of the club’s Championship games. I did meet him when I was here before at Yorkshire in 2015, and he’s a really good guy. I would like to learn from him and speak to him about how he prepares before a game. “I would also like to ask him how his experience has been in international cricket so far.”

Talking about Root’s growth as a batsman, Pujara said: “He’s also improved a lot since I first saw him in 2012 when he came to India with the England team. He’s a different player now from what he was then and has gone on to become one of the best in the world.”
