Cheteshwar Pujara has gone past 150 in India‘s second innings of the first Test against South Africa in Johannesburg. This is Pujara’s fourth score over the 150-run mark. Out of these, two have been double centuries.
He is batting on 151 off 261 balls as India’s score is at 307 for two after 90 overs. India have extended their lead over South Africa to 343 runs on Day Four at the New Wanderers Stadium. Virat Kohli is batting on 84 off 164 balls.
This is also Pujara’s first Test century on foreign soil. With this century, Pujara has six tons. He also has three half-centuries. He was dropped while batting on 52 by Imran Tahir. The leg-spinner fumbled a relatively simple chance off his own bowling.
