Charismatic West Indian opener Chris Gayle, fresh from finishing his Carribean Premier League (CPL) duties for Jamaica Tallawahs, has challenged axed English batting maestro Kevin Pietersen and West Indies left arm spinner and teammate Suleiman Benn for an ice bucket challenge. The party loving West Indian cricketers got into a bit of banter and from the looks of it, we have certainly not heard the end of this episode as Gayle posted an video on Instagram of him having ice cubes dropped on his bare body by teammates Dwyane Bravo and Kemar Roach.

In the video, a bare-chested Gayle looks at the camera and addresses Pietersen and Benn and dares them to do what he is about to do. Gayle then summons his teammates to drop a boxful of ice, which Bravo and Roach oblige gleefully and the West Indian opener shivers in the sheer impact of it. The West Indians continue to entertain off the pitch and it remains to be seen how Benn and Pietersen respond to this.
