Brendon McCullum‘s Otago Volts take on Lahiru Thirimanne-led Kandurata Maroons in the third qualifier match of the Champions League T20 in Mohali on Wednesday.
The New Zealand-based Volts are just one win away from securing a berth in the main draw of the tournament, where as, the Maroons, who lost their first tie against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, will face elimination if they fail to win. Even a victory will not guarantee a spot as the net run rate could come into play if more than two teams end up with one win and one loss each.
The Volts strengthened their side by bringing in Ryan ten Doeschate for this tie, whereas, the Maroons have picked Suraj Randiv.
