The Supreme Court-appointed BCCI‘s Committee of Administrators (CoA) have send out a warning to Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) ahead of their proposed elections date. The CoA have said that they will not recognise these elections, after going though the amended details of MCA’s reformed constitution sent by MCA secretary Riyaz Bagwan.

According to cricbuzz, CoA believes that the constitution differs from the Lodha Committee recommendation, which was accepted by the SGM of MCA on April 7. CoA letter, says: “We have received an email from the former President of the MCA stating that there are certain differences between the Amended Constitution (as sent by the Secretary of the MCA) and the one that was finally discussed and approved at the SGM which he presided over. This fact alone casts serious doubts as to the sanctity of the Amended Constitution.”
