The Mumbai Indians pulled off a remarkable victory against the Rajasthan Royals to storm into the playoffs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Mumbai were set a target of 190 and they had to get it inside 14.3 overs. But, at that mark, the scores were tied and only a boundary would have taken them to the playoffs. And, Aditya Tare came in and smashed a six first ball. The hero of the game was also Corey Anderson who bludgeoned an unbeaten 95 off 44 balls.


Late at night, Anderson tweeted, “That was a very crazy game! Great to be apart of it! @mipaltan just did the impossible!! Finals here we come!! (sic)”




Jasprit Bumrah tweeted, “unbelievable!!! the best t20 game ever!!! great to be part of it!! will never forget this game ever in my life!!!!! (sic)”




Krishmar Santokie expressed, “I ave jus witness one the most unbelievable cricket match ever…..Absolutely brilliant Mumbai!!! (sic)”




“Thanks u guys for ur love and support MI rock @mipaltan (sic)” is what Harbhajan Singh wrote on his Twitter page.




Ben Dunk, the opening batsman who is a part of the Mumbai side this year, tweeted, “Wow…. Just wow.. Well played kiwi. #@coreyanderson78 (sic)”




“A great game of cricket. That was some hitting my MI.  Unbelievable.” Is what Virat Kohli tweeted.




Mohammad Kaif tweeted after watching the game, “This IPL continues to amaze me, day after day..match after match. (sic)”
