Harshal Patel bowled the 16th over. Warner hit the first delivery towards mid-off and took off for a quick single. But Virat Kohli did not get a direct hit as Warner was well short of the crease at the bowler’s end. Darren Sammy then hammered a six over long-off. Sammy then pulled a short delivery, but did not get enough distance and was caught by Mitchell Starc at deep mid-wicket. He had to depart for eight runs. Starc then came into bowl the 17th over. Ojha dabbed one towards mid-on and Warner wanted to take a quick single. He was sent back and Kohli again missed with the direct hit as Warner was short of the crease. Starc bowled a short delivery from round the wicket, but Ojha guided the ball through the third-man region for a four. Ashok Dinda bowled the 18th over. He bowled a full-toss outside off-stump and Ojha drove the ball through cover-point for a single. Warner then walked down the track and hit a low full-toss for a six over long-off. That brought up his half-century in 43 deliveries. Warner then smacked one down the ground for two runs as AB de Villiers did well to stop the boundary. Warner then smashed the last ball of the over for a six above long-on.
