While David Warner was earlier busy with the CA-ACA pay dispute and now with Australia’s upcoming cricket fixtures, his wife Candice had an experience of being a celebrity chef at the popular cooking reality show Hell’s Kitchen. However, her stay was cut short in the popular show, after she failed to impress the jury, serving them a half-cooked chicken. On the verge of getting eliminated, Candice was to guess the ingredients of the certain dish and cook it, all within 20 minutes, to extend her stay. Candice, mother of two, felt it was her ‘failure as a mother’ to not be able to complete the task properly. “I feel every time I feed them dinner at night, I let them down. To think that you are a failure as a mother is really hard to cope,” she said. “Thirty more seconds in the pan and maybe you would have stayed,” she explained about the food she had cooked.

Candice, a former Ironwoman, was one of the 10 participants of the 2017 season of Hell’s Kitchen Australia. Apart from her, Olympian Jess Fox and former rugby player Willie Mason were the other sportspersons taking part in this season of the show.
