Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik had helped Delhi Daredevils recover after early losses in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders. But then, Vijay was out in the ninth over. Delhi lost Quinton de Kock and Kevin Pietersen early on. In nine overs, Delhi are 61 for three. Karthik had got a good delivery from Umesh Yadav, and he edged it through the vacant slip region for a four. In the eight over, Vijay smashed a six down the ground off Vinay Kumar. Later, Karthik worked one to square-leg for a four. Vijay then flicked Jacques Kallis over square-leg for a four. And then he was out as he holed out to the deep. Earlier, Delhi had won the toss and elected to bat first at the Feroz Shah Kotla. Kolkata made a change to their side as Jacques Kallis returned to the side in place of Andre Russell. Delhi have made a change as well as Siddharth Kaul in place of Jaydev Unadkat.
