Opening batsman Dimuth Karunaratne scores his seventh Test fifty for Sri Lanka against Pakistan in third Test, Day One at Pallekele. He has looked extremely comfortable right from the beginning of the innings. He put on 91 runs for the second wicket with Upul Tharanga, who fell for 46 off the bowling of Yasir Shah. Karunaratne was unfazed by the fact that he lost his opening partner Kaushal Silva for just nine. Pakistan bowlers have looked to trouble the batsmen with the extra bounce on the pitch, but the batsmen have negotiated them well. Karunaratne is now batting with Lahiru Thirimanne and the duo will look to bat out the session without any further damage. Live scorecard: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan, 3rd Test Day 1 at Pallekele
