“I’ve spoken in depth with Cricket Australia about how I will spend my time so I can go over there and spend a bit of time with Matt. We have a number of camps over the off-season in Brisbane, but girls have taken the option to play county cricket in England instead of doing that, so it might be something that I consider as well. .. I’m still quite involved in soccer, but it could just be a case that I’m quite a bit older and have a bit more experience under my belt over the past couple of years.” ALSO READ: Ellyse Perry wins ‘Outstanding Woman in Sport’ award

“One of the key factors in that is that we’ve had players retire and move on from the game. I’ve always worked at it and waited until I had some opportunity to develop those skills, and I’ve really enjoyed doing that in the past couple of years.”
