England have been batting solidly in the evening session of Day Two of the fifth Test against India at The Oval. England are now 260 for five and have been decent after tea with Joe Root and Jos Buttler in the center. England had lost four wickets in the afternoon session but have managed to stage a small recover.
England still need to put up a big score and put India under pressure. It has been a good spell by Varun Aaron and Ravichandran Ashwin that has helped India get back into the game. However, they need a lot more. The batting has failed in the last two Tests and the first innings at The Oval. They need to do well to ensure India fight.
With 80 overs, gone, India have taken the new ball and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has started off proceedings.
