England were bowled out for 268 against India in the first ODI at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. England had a good start to their innings until Kuldeep Yadav  arrived in the 11th over. He first took the wicket of well-set Jason Roy, for 38, and followed it with 5 more wickets to become the first left-arm wrist-spinner to pick a six-wicket haul in ODIs. He finished with 10-0-25-6 picking the wickets of Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and David Willey. With this he recorded best figures by a spinner in ODI history and even best figures by a spinner against England. He even registered fourth-best figures by an Indian in ODIs.
