Yuvraj Singh, since his debut in the year 2000 has played under four foreign coaches. They all have had different styles of working and have impacted the Indian team in their own way. Singh had some praise for former coach Gary Kirsten who guided them to the ICC World Cup 2011 triumph.
In an interview with Indian Express Yuvraj threw light on his comeback into the team after he fought off cancer, on captaincy and the Indian team.
“I think Gary Kirsten did a commendable job as a coach. As long as the team is doing well, it doesn’t matter who the coach is or from where he is. And now the BCCI has roped in Ravi Shashtri and Sanjay Bangar for the Indian team,” he said.
