Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Wednesday became a father for the second time as his wife Natasha delivered a healthy baby girl in the national capital. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) skipper welcomed the ‘little angel’ to the family and posted a picture of his two daughters on his official Twitter handle to disclose the development with his fans and followers. In the picture, Gambhir’s elder daughter Aazeen can be seen holding the newborn in her arms with the caption reading: “An angel blessing our family, An angel brightening our lives, Welcome to the world, little angel!”

Gambhir married Natasha in October 2011. The couple has been blessed with a daughter before as well. Gambhir is a loving father and has mentioned about his daughter Aazeen many a times in his columns before and during the IPL 10 season. Only on last Sunday, Gambhir had shared a video with his daughter, wishing all the fathers on the occasion of ‘Father’s Day’. The latest announcement by the southpaw has sent his fans in a state of bliss, as they have been sending in wishes ever since.

Gambhir has been running out of favour with the national selectors, as despite having a solid IPL season with the bat, he was overlooked for national selection. He keeps playing for Delhi and KKR in domestic circuit. An active personality on social media platforms, Gambhir also stays in news for his nationalist tweets, majorly in support of Indian Army and the CRPF Jawans. In April this year, he decided to educate children of the 25 CRPF personnel killed in the Maoist ambush in Sukma. Also recently, he criticised a Kashmiri separatist leader for his pro-Pakistan tweets.
