On Wednesday Glenn Maxwell became the first Australian and the sixth in history to score more than one T20I centuries. As Australia faced England in the second T20I of the Trans-Tasman series at Hobart (which also involves New Zealand), Maxwell put up a stunning show, bagging 3 wickets and then scoring an unbeaten 103. He is the first player in history to have done the 3-wicket-haul and score a hundred in the same T20I. His all-round show helped Australia defeat England by 5 wickets with 9 balls to spare. Before Maxwell, Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Rohit Sharma and Evin Lewis have hit two centuries apiece in the format while Colin Munro holds the record of most (3) centuries in T20Is.
