The England rugby team head coach Stuart Lancaster has reportedly shown his team a video featuring former South Africa Test captain Graeme Smith in order to motivate his team.

According to Sport24, Lancaster showed his team how the former South African skipper had defied the odds as a young captain with an unorthodox batting technique.

The motivational video featured Smith talking about the team culture he tried to inspire among the South Africans, in a ‘quest to look at the culture, identity and legacy of his team’.

England’s rugby team have won the Triple Crown in the Six Nations Championship in 2014 and could go on to win the competition if they defeat Italy this weekend and Ireland loses to France, the report added.
