South Africa batsman Hashim Amla will be rested in the third One-Day International (ODI) between South Africa and Zimbabwe to be held on August 21 at Bulawayo.
“He [Amla] has played a lot of cricket and scored a lot of runs, so it will be a good opportunity for him to take some time off for one game and get him back here for the tri-series nice and fresh.”, South African captain AB de Villiers was quoted as saying by cricket365.com.
South Africa have won the first two ODIs against Zimbabwe in the three match series. After the series, they will play a triangular series which will also feature Australia.
