As South Africa take on Sri Lanka for the final Test at the Wanderers in Johannesburg on Thursday, South Africa’s classy batsman Hashim Amla is all set to enter the elite group of 100 Test. Amla will be the 8th batsman to secure this feat after Ab de Villiers, Shaun Pollock, Mark Boucher, Gary Kirsten, Makhaya Ntini, Jacques Kallis and Graeme Smith. In this journey of 100 Test, Amla has played domestic cricket, broke many records and was even the captain of the national side in Test. Although he might have stepped down as captain after England second Test, Amla remains a vital cog in the Test squad. Out of the 99 Tests, Amla has scored 7,665 runs at an average of 49.45.
