Australia‘s Twenty20 opening batsman, Aaron Finch has said that his team is motivated after watching a hobbled Ryan Harris bowl Australia to a thrilling Test series win against South Africa.
Finch has said that the Australia T20 team was huddled around the team room watching the end of the final match against South Africa and it was getting ”quite nervous”.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Finch said that the team was inspired by the way Harris was bowling on one leg and the way Australia won were ”amazing scenes”. Australia’s T20 captain George Bailey, reportedly arrived in Cape Town ahead of Australia’s three-match T20 series against South Africa and after meeting Harris, who was in so much pain he could ”barely walk”.
He said that the ”legend” of Harris grows ”bigger and bigger”. Bailey also said that Harris ”just gives so much” to the Australian cricket team despite the pacer’s recurring knee injury, the report added.
