Hong Kong take on Netherlands in Match 33 of ICC World Cricket League (WCL) at Mong Kok on Thursday.  You can catch the live streaming of this match on the official YouTube channel of Hong Kong Cricket. Hong Kong are placed in the third place behind Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Netherlands, with 11 points from eight matches. Netherlands, on the other hand, have 12 points from eight games so far. This is a crucial match for both sides. Whichever side wins this match will go to the top of the table. However, Netherlands were dealt with a major blow when they found out that their fast bowler Timm Van de Gugten will not play this match due to an injury on his left shoulder. He has also been ruled out for the match between these two sides that is scheduled to be played on February 18.

As a result, Zimbabwe-born Shane Snater has been called up as his replacement. Recently, Hong Kong and Netherlands played out an exciting draw in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. This was Hong Kong’s first ever First-Class match at home as well. Hong Kong looked all set to win this match, but an unbeaten 288-run stand for the sixth wicket between Ben Cooper (173*) and Pieter Seelaar (138*) ensured that Netherlands held on to a draw after being reduced to 105 for 5 at one stage, chasing 507 for a win.

Anshman Rath, with 279 runs from five matches, is the leading run-scorer for Hong Kong, while Roelof Van der Merwe, with 153 runs, is the highest run-getter for the Dutch. As far as the leading wicket-takers are concerned, Nadeem Ahmed has most to his names in the tournament, with 17 wickets from seven matches. For Netherlands it is Michael Rippon with 13 wickets from seven games leading the way.
