Hollywood star Hugh Grant and other stars played cricket in a charity match with Army veterans. The event was hosted by fashion brand Dockers in support of ‘Walking with Wounded and Combat Stress’. The match was held in Burton Court, Chelsea. Some of the other celebrities included Lilah Parsons and Zara Martin, reported Standard.co.uk.
The Dockers and Flannels event also has the backing of Prince Harry, who has been known to come out in support of wounded British veterans. The report also quoted Prince Harry’s statement after receiving the Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership in 2012: “For these selfless people, it is after the guns have fallen silent, the din of battle quieted, that the real fight begins — a fight that may last for the rest of their lives.”
