It is the clash of the Asian giants when world champions India face familiar foes Sri Lanka in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 at Cardiff on Thursday.

India emerged as table toppers in Group B, with three wins from three matches while Sri Lanka managed two  wins in three games to go through as the second team from Group A. The winner of the match between these two sides will meet hosts England in the final at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Sunday.

This encounter between India and Sri Lanka will be the clash of the two batting orders as both teams rely heavily on their batsmen. India’s top-order has come good while the experienced likes of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene have taken Sri Lanka forward.
