ICC T20 World Cup 2012: Points Table

The ICC World T20 2012 kicked off on September 18 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Here is the points table of the tournament.

 

The T20 World Cup will feature 12 teams consisting of 10 Test teams and two qualifiers (Ireland & Afghanistan). The teams are divided into four groups are A, B, C and D.

 

The T20 World Cup is held every two years. This is event will be the fourth T20 World Cup since 2007, which was won by India.

 

India won their first encounter against Afghanistan and are placed first in their table.

 

Earlier, ICC launched the official event website for the World Twenty20 Championships. Fans can get all the latest information on the tournament from www.icc-cricket.com. The site will also have video highlights from all matches in the tournament, including the men’s and women’s event, as well as behind the scenes interviews with all the teams and leading players.
