Pakistan captain Sana Mir has won the toss and elected to bat first in the 7-8th place playoff against India at the Barabati Stadium.
Having failed to qualify for the Super Six stage of the tournament, both teams will be playing for pride in the encounter and will want to avoid finishing last.
India captain Mithali Raj had said that her team’s bowlers had failed as a unit in their 138-run defeat to Sri Lanka. Raj will hope that the bowlers come up with a better performance.
