The group stage of the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2018 are done and dusted with six teams qualify for the Super Sixes starting March 15. The finalist of the tournament will go to the ICC World Cup 2019 which will be held in England and Wales. West Indies, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan were the favorites from the start so their inclusion in the Super Sixes is not much of a surprise. Scotland have surprised everyone with their performance. They have entered the next stage without a defeat in the group stage.

Apart from these four teams, Ireland and UAE have qualified for the next stage as well.

The World Cup might be dream over for Nepal, PNG, Hong Kong and Netherlands. Scotland and UAE have already achieved ODI status. Following the playoffs, one of the teams can receive an ODI status from Nepal, Hong Kong or PNG.
