Sri Lanka won the toss against West Indies and elected to field in the ICC World Twenty20 (T20) 2014 warm-up match at Dhaka on Wednesday.


Both the teams have won their first warm-up tie and will be looking to continue their winning form in the lead up for the main draw, which kicks off on Friday.

Once again Chris Gayle was the danger man for the West Indies, when his innings of an unbeaten 58 along with Dwayne Smith helped their side reach victory over England comfortably on Tuesday.


Sri Lanka on the other hand, guided by Lasith Malinga‘s four-wicket haul, defeated India on Monday.


Defending Champions West Indies defeated Sri Lanka in the final of the ICC World T20 2012 and the Caribbeans will be looking to repeat it.


Darren Sammy is the skipper of the West Indian outfit, whereas, Angelo Mathews is leading Sri Lanka.
