Virender Sehwag‘s first boundary in the first match of Ice Cricket 2018 was his trademark cut past third-man. Ravi Shastri would have said “Sehwag flashes and flashes hard” had he been the commentator for the tournament. To fan the fire, at the receiving end was Shoaib Akhtar. Sehwag then targeted Abdul Razzak, smacking him past mid-off twice in an over. That is how Sehwag bats. He then almost swept the once fast and furious Akhtar over the leg-side field. His 62 off 31 took his team Badrutt’s Palace Diamonds to 166 for 9 in 20 overs. However, Shahid Afridi’s side Royals chased down the target in 15.2 overs, courtesy Owais Shah’s 74*.
