The Bengaluru Test was supposed to be special for Afghanistan. Unfortunately, India ruined their party by knocking them over twice after lunch on Day Two, for 109 and 103, thrashing them by an innings and 262 runs. The Afghan batsmen could not come to terms with the pace of Umesh Yadav (4 for 44 in the match) or Ishant Sharma (4 for 45), or the wiles of Ravichandran Ashwin (5 for 59) and Ravindra Jadeja (6 for 35). Only Hashmatullah Shahidi showed fortitude, remaining unbeaten on 36 in the second innings, watching 7 wickets fall at the other end. Here are some photographs from Day Two of the Test.
