India A reached 104 for two at tea on Day Two of the first unofficial Test against West Indies A at Mysore on Thursday.
Lokesh Rahul was unbeaten at the crease with Manprit Juneja when tea was taken. The duo revived India A’s innings with an unbeaten stand 55 runs for the third wicket after they were reduced to 49 for two at one stage in reply to West Indies A’s first innings total of 429.
Juneja raced away to a quickfire 35 off 38 deliveries blasting six boundaries after the dismissal of skipper Cheteshwar Pujara.
Earlier in the day, West Indies A were bowled out for 429 after resuming Day Two on 264 for five.
West Indies A 429 (Kraigg Brathwaite 92, Kirk Edwards 91; Parvez Rasool 5 for 116) lead India A 104 for 2 (Lokesh Rahul 43*, Manprit Juneja 35*) by 325 runs.
