WI A 121 | Overs 16.2 | Miller 4 OUT! Beaton 0
Good bowling from Rahul Sharma, gets a five-for conceding just 23 runs. West Indies A were outplayed in all departments by the hosts. Sloppy fielding, erratic line and then too many aerial shots led to the downfall of West Indies A.
With 214 the pressure was always going to be there but the wickets tumbled in a heap.
WI A 115/6 | Overs 14 | Thomas 20, Nurse 16
Thomas and Nurse continue to hang on. The fall of wickets have stemmed but not the increasing run-rate. Not much pressure on the bowlers landing it accurately and further drying the runs.
Yuvraj has bowled himself out conceding 24 in his four overs and picking two wickets.
WI A 87/6 | Overs 11 | Thomas 7, Nurse 3 OUT! Russell 12
Five wickets in as many overs for India A between over number four and eight. The run-rate is way beyond 13. The quick wickets has pushed the visitors out of this game. Ashley Nurse and Devon Thomas can surely salvage some pride maintaining their wickets till the end.
In the eighth over, Yuvraj got his second wicket dismissing Andre Russell for 12.
WI A 77/5 | Overs 8 | Russell 11, Thomas 1 OUT! Carter 6, Fletcher 32
Matured bowling from leggie Rahul Sharma and reaps rewards. Dismissed Fletcher who tries to experiment and is bowled for 32. Earlier Yuvraj SIngh too removes Jonathan Carter.
WI A 55/3 | Overs 6 | Fletcher 28*, Carter 0 OUT! Bonner 18, Edwards 0
West Indies A are conceding their wicket in pursuit of runs. While Fletcher is doing well from one end. Bonner was dismissed trying to go for an expansive shot only to be brilliantly caught by Unmukt Chand. Rahul Sharma in the following over removed Kirk Edwards.
Yuvraj SIngh comes on to bowl.
WI A 46/1 | Overs 4 | Fletcher 20*, Bonner 17*
17 from Vinay Kumar’s second over. The batsmen are already on the attack even as Kumar dismissed Kieran Powell.
WI A 19/0 | Overs 1 | Fletcher 11*, Powell 8*
The decision to open with Yusuf Pathan not working as he goes for 19 runs in the first over.
IND A 214/7 | Overs 20 | Narwal 18*, Kumar 1*
Poor last over from Beaton. Erratic line and length and concedes far too many to the hosts. Sumit Narwal uses long-handle to accumulate some bonus runs after the flurry of wickets in penultimate over.
IND A 191/7 | Overs 19 | Narwal 2*, Kumar 1* OUT! Jadhav 42, Yuraj 52, Ojha 0, Pathan 0
India A batsmen committing harakiri by launching the ball in the air with no timing. Hat-trick for Andre Russell as he picks four wickets in as many deliveries. Senseless batting from the new batsmen who walked in.
From 189 for three and in one over they are 191 for seven with just two runs scored in the penultimate over.
IND A 174/3 | Overs 17 | Yuvraj 41*, Jadhav 40*
Yurvaj in full flow here hitting consecutive sixes off Andre Russell and so is Kedar Jadhav hitting consecutive sixes off Bonner in the next over.
IND A 128/3 | Overs 14 | Yuvraj 23*, Jadhav 14*
Ashley Nurse has been the only effective bowler picking two wickets removing Unmukt Chand and Baba Aparajith. However, the runs continue to come for the Indians.
Powell has now introduced leg-spinner Nkrumah Bonner.
IND A 110/3 | Overs 12 | Yuvraj 18*, Jadhav 1* OUT! Aparajith 3
Soft dismissal for Baba Aparajith. The youngster couldn’t keep his deft touch along the ground and short mid-on takes a simple catch. Ashley Nurse picks up a wicket. Spinners have slightly calmed down the aggressive scoring.
Kedar Jadhav is the new man.
IND A 94/2 | Overs 10 | Yuvraj 6 OUT! Chand 47
Dropped twice and finally caught brilliantly by Kirk Edwars running backwards. He was dropped earlier in the over by Ronsford Beaton. But the scoring rate continues to be healthy. 94 in 10 overs is a fine start from the Indians.
IND A 76/1 | Overs 8 | Chand 34*, Yuvraj Singh 1 OUT! Uthappa 35
Finally a wicket for West Indies A. Permaul angles in a faster delivery and the batsman misses it. Umpire has no hesitation in giving him out. Skipper Yuvraj Singh is the new batsman.
IND A 70/0 | Overs 6 | Uthappa 32*, Chand 32*
Dropped! Nikita Miller drops a sitter off Permaul. Lucky escape for Chand. The young opener takes full advantage and picks a few more runs in Adnre Russell’s over. Both openers now matching each other with their aggressive shots.
They have conceded six wides so far. Dropped catch, extras and flurry of wides — nothing working for West Indies A.
IND A 52/0 | Overs 4 | Uthappa 28*, Chand 20*
The wayward start by the fast bowlers has forced skipper Kieran Powell to get on left-arm spinner Nikita Miller. But it doesn’t make much difference as Uthappa and Chand continue to pick boundaries at will.
Miller concedes 17 in the over. Uthappa is making merry hitting the ball all around.
Another spinner Veerasammy Permaul comes on to ball.
IND A 23/0 | Overs 2 | Uthappa 14*, Chand 7*
Openers Robin Uthappa and Unmukt Chand are off to a flier at Bangalore. Uthappa flicks one on the leg side off Ronsford Beaton and the ball lands into the stands in the first over. Chand in the second over picks a boundary to a poor delivery pitched on the leg. Uthappa adds six more on the last delivery off Andre Russel. Slightly wayward start from the West Indies A bowlers. Uthappa already 14 off seven balls.
Skipper Kieran Powell is already covering up the field on either side with no slips in place.
India A have won the toss and will be batting first. The team line-up is as follows

Hello and a warm welcome to the live updates of the unofficial one-off T20 match between India A and West Indies A. This is Abhijit Banare and I will be bringing you the momentary updates of the match.
The hosts will look to make amends after a well-planned West Indies A came back from a match down to win the series 2-1. Jonathan Carter and Kirk Edwards sizzled in the series with a ton. Among the bowlers Miguel Cummins was impressive. For India A except for skipper Yuvraj Singh, other players struggled to keep rise to the occasion. Yuvraj, back from an intense fitness training programme looked in great touch and there will be a lot of expectations as he leads the team today.
