India have finally taken a catch at slip as Murali Vijay held on to a chance of Alastair Cook at first slip off the bowling of Varun Aaron. Cook had earlier been given a repreive as Vijay had dropped a straightforward chance off Aaron. But now, Cook has to go back for 79.

Cook was looking in very good touch and that was turning out to be a good innings However, he has bounced back to form and he is now looking good to build on it in the future. Aaron was finally rewarded for some persistent and probing bowling, as a couple of catches were put down earlier on.
