Kevin Pietersen on Thursday called for spinner Ravichandran Ashwin‘s inclusion in the Indian side for the fourth Test match against England at Old Trafford, as the tourists crashed to a 266-run defeat in the third Test match at Southampton. There have been demands of Ashwin’s inclusion in the side since he was dropped for the first Test in Trent Bridge.
Pietersen took to Twitter to express his feelings for England’s win, saying that India should be thinking about their strategy.
England win I see…I love that the team selected for this Test has just won! I just love it! #boom. India have to play Ashwin…

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said after the loss that they will be revisiting their strategies after the four-bowler plan failed to get results for them in the third Test. Dhoni said after the match, “But it’s the bowling we need to improve and hit the top of off stump. We will have to think about the four-bowler strategy. We can say the extra batsman didn’t score, but then again the extra bowler didn’t pick up wickets. So we have to discuss a lot and decide on the basis of the pitch.”

Moeen Ali was the star performer for England as they slammed India by a huge margin, leveling the five-match Test seriues with two more games to go.
