India are 184 for six in 36.4 overs as they are chasing 315 against New Zealand in the third One-Day International (ODI) at Auckland. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin were fighting to keep India going in this run-chase, before the captain was out soon after completing his fifty courtesy a great catch by Tim Southee in the deep.


It is interesting to note that India have promoted Ashwin ahead of Ravindra Jadeja in this run-chase. Ashwin’s more assured batting ability may have been behind this decision as India need someone who can hold one end as Dhoni tried to chart out the chase.


Ashwin has moved into his strike by flicking Hamish Bennett through mid-wicket for a four. But, there still is a long way to fo.
