Australia reached 29 for no loss at the end of five overs against India in the third One-Day International (ODI) at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium in Mohali on Saturday.
Needing 304 to win, Australia’s chase got off to a good start as Aaron Finch smashed a boundary to end the first over.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar took advantage of the swinging conditions before a poor delivery outside off got the treatment it deserved.
Vinay Kumar’s over started off poorly as he targeted Phil Hughes’ legs with a leg slip stationed. However, he ended up giving six runs in wide before bowling his first legitimate ball.
Although both the bowlers strayed in their line, both the openers looked out of sorts when they got it right.
